Dear Rose Avenue Elementary Neighbors,

As we move into Phase Two of the Rose Avenue Elementary campus transformation, crews will begin demolishing the old facilities on Monday, August 18, 2025, and continue through September 30, 2025. Work will take place on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. During this time, trucks will enter and exit the site, and crews will water down demolition areas to reduce dust in compliance with air quality regulations.

Following demolition, crews will continue construction through the spring:

  • October 2025: Crews will complete earthwork and site preparation (with additional truck traffic).
  • Oct. 27–31, 2025: Crews will pave new play surfaces.
  • November 2025: Crews will install new playground equipment.
  • Dec. 2025–Jan. 2026: Crews will install landscaping and playfield grass.
  • April 2026: The new campus is anticipated to open.
